Welcome to this website dedicated to the strategy game Sins of Solar Empire. You'll find a few mods here, some are bigger and more elaborate and some (which I'll add in the future) are the kind of minor tweaks I've made just for myself, but I'd like to share. Have fun...
Journey Into Dark Space
This mod was such an idea that was born one late night with this great game and so I thought to give it a try.
For this minimod to work, you need to download the modification from Dolynick ... Stargate Races + Sins: Remastered. Attention here, I had a problem with the last version that shields stopped showing after a hit, so I'm playing StargateRaces r1.09 + SinsRemastered-v1.00 (and everything works fine).
What does the mod bring? First of all, there is an attempt at a campaign with a story in a similar style as, for example, Warcraft III. So:
1) Each mission has its own map made exactly to measure.
2) As in other campaign games, your arsenal of units will gradually expand with each mission.
3) Some units have changed parameters, missiles, sounds compared to the original, and 2 Tau'ri debugged units, i.e. BC303 and BC304, are gradually made available.
4) Finally, of course, the story, in written form in PDF in the form of short briefings before each mission (part of the story are also the instructions for the given mission)
The campaign revolves around a large research team, after the events of the Stargate Universe (this story is non-canon, and the mod doesn't exactly stick to the Star Gate series so it's just a time classification), that discovered the Ancient database in a giant piece of rock flying through space (a fragment of a destroyed planet) with all their technology (yes, it will be played as Ancients here, because of the ships, but otherwise this is a Tau'ri team). However, the danger they will have to face with the newly discovered technology is much greater than anyone could imagine (note: Stargate Atlantis).

Every 14 days a new mission will be added, which can be downloaded separately and played. They follow each other in terms of plot, so I recommend playing from the first part. Thank you and I hope you will like it at least a little and enjoy it. Check the version of the main files.
Have a nice day.
